Dr. Chandra Shekhar Karmakar

Dr. Chandra Shekhar completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 2010, then passed FCPS (Anaesthesia) with distinction from BCPS, completing both parts of the exam on the first attempt. He was later awarded a fully-funded fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine by the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA), completed at Virinchi Hospital, Hyderabad under Dr. Murli Dhar Joshi.

Returning to Bangladesh, he joined Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and established a dedicated pain clinic, performing the country's first Gasserian Ganglion Chemical Ablation for Trigeminal Neuralgia. He has since performed a wide range of advanced interventional procedures including Radiofrequency Ablation, Vertebroplasty, Percutaneous Osteoplasty, and Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy.
